I ordered the wrong thing. I regret absolutely nothing. 😂🍫 Came for the dumplings, stayed for the chocolate-filled buns. Apparently, even my little guys wanted a bite. 🥟💕 Good food, wonderful company, and a very happy accident. 📍 Din Tai Fung | Las Vegas #DinTaiFungVegas #blmanhwa ##blmerch #manhwamerch

Meteoric Milky Night 🐧🐻‍❄️💫 This was a really cute recent read! 🥰 It’s a duology that follows lonely penguin Subaru and lonely polar bear Kai at a zoo who both wish on a shooting star to find their special person 🥺 They then are turned into gorgeous humans, and the unfazed zoo director puts them both to work at his host club that he also conveniently owns 🤭 “Nothing like this ever happened when I was a penguin, so that’s why I cried.” There is a lot of silliness, but I found their path to their relationship really sweet 😩 Kai is 19 and Subaru is 27. Neither are used to living among humans, and Subaru especially gets hurt while craving attention and affection from his customers. This line above was so innocent and cute and sad 😭 Had me tearing up because my sweet penguin man cried 😭 Anyways.. I took this first photo from my digital read before my trip, but I’ve since been able to find not only the two manga volumes, but also an extra doujin by the mangaka, some little merch items (two bookmarks, a mini print and a can badge), and Takasaki sensei’s newly released artbook!! 😍 I’m so eager to look at the art book, but I’m gonna keep it sealed until I get home so it will stay safe in my luggage 🙏 I’m not sure if there is a spinoff already following the zoo director and his peacock (turned human) lover, but I need their story too 😭 I’ve been seeing her Torokeru Kuchibiru sequel at every bookstore I’ve been into 👀 We don’t have any of her series yet in English print, but I know a couple of her oneshots are on Renta, so I’ll have to check them out soon! 🥰 #meteoricmilkynight #takasakibosco #manga #blmanga #blmangarecommendation

Somewhere beneath a sky full of stars… ✨ No city lights. No noise. Just moonlit salt flats, endless desert skies, and some of my favorite people. A little piece of the universe I'll carry with me forever. 🌙🤍

Tiny travelers, big adventures. 🏜️💕 Took the boys on a little detour to Seven Magic Mountains while exploring Vegas. Apparently, holding hands and getting lost in the desert counts as a romantic getaway. 🤭 A little sunshine, a lot of color, and memories to take home. ✨ #blmerch #blcollector #blmanga #lasvegas #7magicmountains

Coffee dates and questionable company. ☕🐈‍⬛🤎 Apparently, the boys have developed expensive tastes. A little caffeine, a little dessert, and another day exploring Vegas. ✨ Title: Cry Me a River Author: Majjip Platform (EN): Lezhin #crymeariver #blmanhwa #blmerch #blcollector #manhwamerch

The Prosecutor’s Proposal 💼⚖️ I’ve been consumed with this series over the past couple days! 😆 I just finished vol 2 tonight! The story follows Lee Chaeha, the son of a murderer 👀 His mother had already died of cancer, so he is taken in by his abusive uncle while only in middle school after his father’s high profile arrest. He lives his adolescence and into adulthood bullied by classmates, teachers, and work colleagues, hated for existing and being his father’s son. He joins the Police Academy as soon as possible to escape his uncle’s ‘care’ and then transfers to the Fines Enforcement Department. He’s fond of a prosecutor in a different department, Ju Taeseon, who he’s admired for some time because of his sense of justice as well as his personally having come to his aid years ago when falsely accused of accepting bribes. After Ju Taeseon tests Lee Chaeha’s competence and reasoning with a few cases, which brings animosity from colleagues who have more seniority for promotion, he makes an unexpected proposal 👀 The investigatory side of the story reminds me a lot of Silent Reading and Memento Mori so far. The dynamic between Ju Taeseon and Lee Chaeha reminds me of the pairing in Kaleidoscope of Death (big gap in experience, one mysterious and keeping secrets, the other competent and working hard to pull his weight), though there is complexity around their pasts that brings out guilt in their interactions 🧐 There is no spice in the vol 1, but when the spice hits in vol 2, it hits HARD 😶‍🌫️🫣🔥 Their first night together is absolutely filthy, and Ju Taeseon is super mean and relentless in bed 🫣😮‍💨 Buddy reading with @liesjereads 🎀 Thank you for letting me dump all my reactions on you 😆 and loving hearing the differences between the novel and drama adaptation 👀 I’ve had so many theories while reading and (as usual) am 1000% convinced I am correct with my leads 🕵🏻‍♀️🤭 Volume 3 just dropped on @omofictions so I’m already impatient to continue! The novel is going to be 5 volumes total with the final two vols releasing the next two Fridays, Sept 18th & 25th! Thank you omofictions for gifting me the first three volumes! 😍
