And just like that… the Capital City Cup Tournament, 2026 comes to an end.

Throughout this journey, the message was clear: there is more to life than Drugs. There is purpose, strength, and a future worth fighting for!

This Inaugural tournament couldn’t have been better without the players who gave their all, the fans who showed up, every official who made sure the games were fair, and to you- our online fans who shared, reposted, commented, and cheered us on, we say THANK YOU!

You are a part of this story.

Although this Tournament has ended, the message continues: CHOOSE FOOTBALL, SAY NO TO DRUG ABUSE.

This is what many of you don't know.

When the idea of this Tournament came, it didn't seem like it was possible. Not without any sponsorship.

Because this is a first time for us, we weren't sure we had the capacity to withstand the pressure that comes with organising something of this magnitude.

Then the people who turn up every weekend to watch the matches? We didn't think that there would be so many people at the Apo Resettlement Mini Stadium every weekend for the past five (5) weeks on account of the Capital City Cup Tournament.

This is why this video warms our heart so much. Because despite the uncertainties we had, we started, and now, those uncertainties have paled in comparison to the impact we're making.

Thank you, Footballers, and thank you, Football fans. Without you, our dream to use Football as the Tool in speaking out against Drug Abuse would not have been possible.

From the desk of the Organizers, THANK YOU!
