We thought we knew who we were celebrating… until delivery day said, “SURPRISE!” 😂🤍

From the surprise baby shower to the games, delicious food, drinks, laughter and memories we’ll cherish forever, everything was so beautiful. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up and made the day so special. We felt so loved ❤️

But the BIGGEST plot twist? The gender we were told at the scan was not the gender we welcomed on delivery day! The shock is a story for another day because WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! 🤯🤣

My baby girl is officially FIVE 💃🏾💐

My Chubbylulu, my beautiful girl, my sweet girl, my first baby, my little bestie, my sunshine and my certified big girl now 😭😂🎀.

Where did the time even go? Because I am still trying to process how my tiny baby became this gorgeous 5 year old.

Watching your personality come alive, seeing how smart, funny, loving and cheeky you are, you really keep us on our toes 😂.

My prayer for you is that God will always go ahead of you, protect you, order your steps and keep you surrounded by His grace and favour. May you grow in wisdom, strength and confidence, and may you become everything God has created you to be. May your life always be filled with joy, love and beautiful opportunities 🙏🏾.

You’ve brought Us so much love, laughter and beautiful memories these past five years. Being your mummy is honestly one of my favourite things in this life 🥹.

Years in and he still knows how to start the day right, massages first, because we deserved to relax before the real show began 💆🏾‍♀️

He really showed up with roses like it’s still year one. 6 years and the butterflies haven’t left the building 🌹

Then came the food. Honestly Miyako never disappoints, every plate was a vibe on its own 🍣🥟🍰

Our girl was the real star of the night though, she watched that chef cook like it was the best show she’d ever seen 🍗😂

There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are for you. Thank you for loving our family so deeply and carrying so much on your shoulders without ever asking for recognition. You work hard, sacrifice so much, and give your all to make sure we are safe, happy, and cared for ❤️.

How can creatives determine their worth in industries that often lack transparency.

To my Beloved Instructor (Husband 🤍)

From the moment you got me a car to all the days you patiently sat beside me teaching me how to drive… it wasn’t always smooth. There were days we came back home not talking, days I felt like giving up and just letting you take over. Starting the car alone once felt so scary, but every time I made it back home, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted.

It all started in 2024… and look at me now in 2026, all by God’s grace.

There were moments during my test I thought it was over. Right from the beginning, the examiner asked me a question I couldn’t answer and in my mind, I had already failed. But God said No. At some point while driving, I even blanked out… my examiner asked if I was okay, and I told him I would be fine and somehow, I was.

God truly showed up and favoured me in ways I can’t fully explain. I’m so grateful Lord, and I do not take this for granted at all.

To my precious Husband 🤍 thank you for your patience, for believing in me even when I doubted myself, and for constantly pushing me to be confident behind the wheel. You really did that.

No driving instructor, just us, a lot of practice, and countless videos of my test routes and it all paid off. Like I passed practical on my second attempt 🤔 wrote theory 5times and see my God… Just take your flowers 💐💐💐💐💐.
