So, I reached out and sent a message around March or April—I can't really remember. Since then, there was no reply. I kept going back to check the chat... chaiii 😌🤦 Still no response. Fast forward to June. I woke up one morning and saw a message on WhatsApp: "Are you still interested in the Graphic Design job?" I was like... this one is still asking me a question? 🤣🤣😂 What am I even living for? 😁😊 Of course, I said YES! We talked about the pay, and everything went smoothly. Mind you, this isn't the only design I've done for them. I've worked on several projects already—I just decided to keep quiet about it. 🤦 All glory to God Almighty. 🙏🙏 There's a different kind of joy that comes with seeing a celebrity—a popular Gospel singer GAISE BABA and realizing you're the one designing their visuals. 🔥 All I can say is: HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME, LORD. 🙏 Now hear this 👇 My advice to every creative is this: never become too comfortable with your environment. Foreign clients don't reject you because you're from Nigeria. They reject work that looks Nigerian in quality and execution. Your work is what communicates before you ever do. I refuse to let instagram steal my shine ✨ I hit 6k followers a day before my birthday (5th of May) and on my birthday (6th of May) instagram had mass unfollowing. Me that was celebrating 6k got confused immediately because how did I go back to 5k that I have been stuck on for over 2 years and counting. While that hurt so bad I didn’t let it affect me, I just zeroed my mind about it.
