OMG, there are BLACK PEOPLE at Burning Man?!” 👀🖤

One of the most common questions I get asked about Burning Man… and the assumption is usually NO!

Well, honey, let me show you otherwise! ✨

While on the Playa, I made it a point to seek out and interview my people. I wanted to highlight our presence, our stories, our WHY, and most importantly, our JOY! 🖤

Introducing my new series: “BLACK ON THE PLAYA” 🔥 Pt. 1

Real people. Real experiences. Raw conversations. Right in the middle of the magic.

🎤 What brings Black people to Burning Man?
🎤 Do we feel seen, welcomed, and included?
🎤 What does this experience mean to us?

And trust me, we get into SO much more

Because representation matters, and our stories deserve to be told by US. ✊🏾✨

🔊 Turn your sound UP and come a little closer! We’re taking you beyond the stereotypes and into the experiences of Black Burners on the Playa.

🎥 Full interviews coming to my YouTube channel: MissCrazySexiCool

🔔 Turn on those notifications so you don’t miss an episode!

👀 And if you recognize somebody’s face, TAG THEM! Let’s reconnect our Playa family!

Now tell me… did you know Black folks were out here Burning?! 🔥👇🏾

🗿 Dancing amongst the ancestors at @burningman I fell in love with this art piece and had to do a little movement with it (nothing impressive). Def felt like I was dancing among ancestors.

Surprisingly someone saw me dancing the next morning at the Yoruba party and said I’m making my ancestors proud ☺️

I love that all people were enamored with this art piece 🫶🏾

I skipped Burning Man this year. Strangely, I didn’t have FOMO, but I do miss seeing many of my camp fam and getting all the love that comes with burning.

See y’all in the dust next year.
