The strange paradox that is trains, for me. They are something that has always provided comfort. I have always lived near the sounds of the train. Awake with my night terrors as a kid, it was the sound of the train passing by that lulled me back to sleep. That loud intrusive sound that let me know, I wasn’t the only one awake. Yet somehow, there is a fear in the gentle balance of the power of trains that disturbs my peace and quiet. #bcp #evergreen #train #memory #reklüs

“Wow, time really flew by.” It is in these moments that we escaped the limits of time and allowed ourselves to be carried away in the moment. When we come back to the routine ruled by time we feel a loss. It is not just a loss of that moment but for the loss of that freedom when just for a bit, time didn’t exist.

We are not really supposed to understand all of it, but for the most part it is consistent to the choices we make. We know when we have played at the hands of fate and have relied on the consequences to carry out our life when we have failed to seek our own truth.

I have been looking back…always reflecting on the past it seems. I’ve seen this version of myself that has the ability to jump, not necessarily fearless, but more restless. I was so ready to get moving, completely unaware of all that can happen.

Been going through this for a few years now,
I’ve picked up a few more reasons along the way.
