Tonight was just 😭😭

Mr. Rogers once said, “We are all precious in our uniqueness and meant to help each other shine.”

And that is exactly what tonight was. Truly, I have no words to express the gratitude I have for my family, my church family and God’s blessing of this beautiful community of Thomasville 🩵🤍🩷

Tonight was nothing short of amazing to watch people from all places & walks of life gathering around my dream to help it shine and I couldn’t do it without each one of you.

A VERY special thank you to our amazing sponsors!!

And congrats to @kstowersdaily for winning dinner for two at Jonah’s!! 🐟

Of course thank you to all who have given advice, supported me and helped to see this dream come true. This is only the beginning, but I’d say it’s a pretty good start ☀️🌊🤍

Despite the stereotype, Black fathers are among the most involved dads in America.

The presence of a father matters more than many people realize.

Despite the narrative, research shows that 58% of Black fathers live with their children, and even among those who live apart, nearly 60% see their children at least once a week.

In fact, studies from the CDC have shown that Black fathers are among the most actively involved fathers in daily activities with their children compared to other groups.

And the impact is real. Children with involved fathers are 43% more likely to earn A’s in school and 33% less likely to repeat a grade.

Fatherhood isn’t defined by stereotypes, circumstances, or even custody arrangements.
It’s defined by presence, consistency, and love.

To every father showing up — through the long days, the court battles, the busy schedules, or the distance — your presence matters more than you know.

Let’s continue to challenge the narrative and show the world what fatherhood really looks like.
