Hi, I’m Dr. Dawn, an optometrist, and I wear petite frames myself. 👓 💃

Tell me, what’s your biggest petite eyewear frustration? I’m building a Petite Eyewear Guide around your answers.

I’m grateful to @shortnfeisty_, who’s been telling petite women the truth about fit a lot longer than I’ve been posting about it. She’s got your inseam. I’ve got your bridge. Same idea, different measurement. After 30 years of fitting petite faces, and struggling to find petite frames myself, I want to take the guesswork out of eyewear fit with real frames, real measurements, and the fit science behind them.

Follow me for practical fit checks, the numbers to know before you buy, and petite proportions with full-size personality. ✨

Frames are my own, @blackfineyewear

Most days, I wear contact lenses. But I like switching things up with glasses. 🤓

A different frame for a different mood. Yellow lenses when the light feels harsh or I’m at my computer. Red ones when the evening rolls around.

I like things that work well and look good. Apparently that applies to glasses too.

Which pair suits me best? 1, 2, 3 or 4?

It definitely wasn’t the best race weekend of my career. P9 in qualifying and unfortunately neither race went the way we wanted, with both ending prematurely.

In the last race, I ended up in the wall after an incident. Luckily, I’m completely fine and walked away unhurt.

Now it’s time to reset, learn from this weekend and come back stronger. Eyes on Misano! 💪🏻🇮🇹
