I saw a photo of Rhomer Shoal Lighthouse with a sun flare through the open doors, captured by @saltwaterexposures . I then made it a mission to capture this myself also!

The doors came off during Hurricane Sandy in 2012 I was told. The sun alignment only happens a few times in two seasons for sunset or sunrise.

I was lucky enough to get the sunset angle of this magnificent shot! Enjoy!

📸 Swing by @MonmouthArts ArtSpace this weekend to check out my exhibit, “Street Life,” featuring a collection of black and white street photography. The gallery is open today and Saturday from 12-4 PM.

🚨 On Saturday at 2 PM, join me for “Life Unscripted,” an artist talk where I’ll share insight into the craft of street photography, the stories behind my work, offer some tips, and take your questions. The event is free and open to the public.

🎨 The event is part of the annual Garden State Art Weekend, which celebrates art across New Jersey.
