CULTURAL BRIDGE BUILDING 101: I randomly seen this Asian guy who I thght was the bruhz (cause we greet each other everytime we see a member) and came to find out he knows NOTHING about the tshirt he is wearing nor D9 organizations 🤣. I don’t know how he got the shirt bc it’s only supposed to be sold at licensed retailers BUT I still I was able to give him some info on the dope shirt he had on!

Btw me buying the shirt back was saving him from some old school guy who would’ve acted differently about it 🤣

Was he wrong for thinking that he was showing respect in buying a black fraternity shirt out of a thrift shop and wearing it even though he has no clue what it means? Do ppl respect having to earn something anymore? I mean there are Asian Ques….

Are you D9 Greek? OO-OOP!

This week on The Z Spot, we’re stepping into a conversation that asks for curiosity, reflection, and respect.

I’m joined by two members of the greater Divine 9 community who share their experiences as people of trans experience within Black Greek life. In this episode, they invite us into their journeys—what it meant to be initiated as a member of a Divine 9 sorority, how their relationships with their organizations have evolved over time, and where those relationships stand today.

It’s an honest, thoughtful conversation about identity, belonging, legacy, community, heartbreak, erasure, real ease, and finding new versions of home.

Tap the link in my bio to watch the full episode. Trust me, this is one you’ll want to sit with.

And stay close to the comments over the next couple of weeks because I’ll be dropping clips for the community to watch, reflect, and engage with together. NO BULLYING NO HARASSMENT!!
