Congratulations to all of the incredible participants in our $5,000 Grooms Class! 🎉 Recognizing the hardworking professionals behind the scenes who keep our horses happy, healthy, and performing at their best. Their dedication, long hours, and unwavering commitment make everything that happens in the show ring possible.

Congratulations to this year's winner, Javi, a longtime groom for Elizabeth Porter of Wilde Fields at White North Stables, and to all of the outstanding grooms who participated. Thank you for everything you do for our horses and our sport!

A heartfelt thank you to Campbell and Caroline Kahn for their generous sponsorship of this special class, along with W.F. Young, Schneider Saddlery and other sponsors for the great awards and for helping us celebrate the individuals who are truly the backbone of our industry. 💙🐴

A few more faves from @shelleypaulsonphotography’s Florida workshop, Circle in the Sun🐴🌴☀️

Despite a couple rainy sessions, with Shelley’s guidance we were able to make some really lovely images of amazing horses and ponies and their beautiful humans. It was an incredible learning experience and I especially loved working alongside so many talented photographers. The educational opportunities are endless at workshops with Shelley and co. and I’m already looking forward to the next one!

About a year ago, I decided to take on an off-the-track Thoroughbred project—something I had never done before. I had only ever owned warmbloods, so this was completely new territory for me.

Looking back, she was truly so special. Over the past year, we built a partnership based on trust, patience, and just learning how to enjoy the process together. She taught me so much, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Yesterday, I sold her. It definitely wasn’t easy, but I truly believe she found exactly where she’s meant to be. She’s going to be so loved and so appreciated, and that brings me a lot of peace knowing she gets to continue being someone’s special horse. A big thank you to @blackheartfarms for showing us what our partnership could really be and for helping me understand what a truly happy, healthy horse looks like—giving her the kind of care that allowed her to feel her absolute best. CONGRATULATIONS Amelia!

I was so delighted yesterday when Thunder Shark and Sharktopus surprised me by visiting Eyecandyland! They’re spending the season at our seasonal digs so I don’t see them half as much as I should! And then it started to rain tremendously, but who cares? What gorgeous guys! Now that we know everyone loves the Jaws babes, don’t you think we should make loads more??
