POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

💗 JUST ANNOUNCED 💗

Four new shows to get in the diary, from 80s pop to Scottish metal.

✨ Johnny Hates Jazz @johnnyhatesjazzofficial head out on The “Shattered Dreams” 40th Anniversary tour across multiple locations. Released in 1987, “Shattered Dreams” took them to No. 2 in the US and kicked off a string of hits.

🎤 Niall McCabe @islandniall plays London. Raised on Clare Island off Ireland’s Atlantic coast, he pairs Irish folk storytelling with the wide-open sound of Americana.

🎹 Black Marble @blackmarblenyc brings the European tour to Bristol and Leeds. Chris Stewart’s long-running coldwave project is all icy synths, drum machines and melancholy hooks.

🤘 Bleed From Within @bleedfromwithin head to Newcastle upon Tyne with support from Vexed @vexedvexedvexed. After 20 years and shows with everyone from Megadeth to Slipknot, the Glasgow five-piece are back on the road.

🎟️ Niall McCabe tickets are on sale now, with Bleed From Within on sale 09:00 and Johnny Hates Jazz and Black Marble on sale 10:00 Friday 23rd October 2026.

NEW SHOW: A true Grey Lantern favourite, Black Marble is back in Manchester on April 5th 2027 at New Century Locker to tour his latest album Life in Small Spaces. Tickets on sale Friday 10am.

Fourteen years on and seven releases after first humming to life, Chris Stewart continues to make records hunched over machines that warm to the touch when turned on and need to be coaxed to stay in tune. His albums, written, recorded, and delivered solely by Stewart, remain singular visions, with songs that seek to convey a diffuse pastiche, now shaped by a desire to wrap the whole thing in a message that speaks to where he’s been and where he wants to go.

Life in Small Spaces, his latest album, trades walls of synths for more guitar, drawing on early American left of the dial college radio staccato guitar lines recalling Pylon, The Necessaries, and R Stevie Moore, and live drum samples, a nod to Wire’s simple metronomic style.
