#TakeBackTech this Saturday from 3 pm - 5 pm presented by #BlackMenBuildATL

Technology is not just computers. It’s everything from clothes to language to art and processes. By understanding what technology truly is and how it works, we can empower ourselves to take back tech and build towards our liberation.

At Black Men Build, one of our 9 Bars is to ensure technology works for us, and not at the cost of people or planet; not for war or profit. Technology should assist labor, not replace workers. We should have free internet and utilities for all!

Come through if you want to stop being a passive consumer and become an active participant in building your ideal future. By repairing our relationship with technology, we can take back tech from the corporations and governments who wish to control us.

If you’re serious about healing, consciousness, and understanding Black life beyond surface-level psychology…....these are not optional reads.

Two texts. Two interventions. One mission: transformation.

📘 Sacred Sons: A Healing Blueprint for Black Masculinities

https://www.amazon.com/Sacred-Sons-Healing-Blueprint-Masculinities/dp/B0GR1WP9J5
This is not just a book.......it’s a blueprint.
It walks you through the psychological, relational, and psychospiritual architecture of Black masculinities:

• How trauma, defense, and identity get organized in Black males
• The roots of emotional restriction, "hypermasculinity", and relational disconnection
• A path toward healing, integration, and true Black masculine becoming

This is for clinicians, educators, leaders, and anyone ready to engage Black men with depth, accuracy, and respect.

📕 Psychology Through Our Eyes: A Culturally Inclusive Introduction to Psychology

https://www.amazon.com/Psychology-Through-Our-Eyes-Introduction/dp/B0FTK78GDN
This text reclaims psychology itself.
• Re-centers Black and Brown experiences as foundational, not peripheral
• Deconstructs traditional Eurocentric assumptions in the field
• Offers a decolonial, Black-centered framework for understanding mind, behavior, and human development

If you teach, study, or practice psychology.......this is the lens you’ve been missing.

Let me be clear:
These aren’t books you skim.
These are books that reorganize how you think, how you see, and how you work.

📦 Get your copies TODAY:

👉 Available in links in above
👉 OR get them directly from me—signed with a personal note from the author: 📩 DM to order your signed copies.

• Sacred Sons — $45

Invest in frameworks that tell the truth.
Invest in your growth. Ase!

Too many of our stories are ending in pain…
Pain we act out.

Black men WE are being called forward to more deeply understand ourselves before our unprocessed pain becomes (or continues to be) harmful to ourselves, our partners, our families, and our communities.

The PsychoSpiritualCollective Presents:
“Before Harm Happens (or continues): Black Men Confronting Rage & Fragmentation”

🗓 April 19, 2026
🕖 7PM–9PM EST (Virtual)
$25

THIS IS A SPACE FOR ACCOUNTABILITY — WITHOUT SHAME.
REAL reflection, ownership, and movement.

🧠 WHY THIS MATTERS
• Men who suppress emotions are significantly more likely to experience explosive anger and relational breakdowns.
• Unprocessed trauma in men is strongly linked to increased risk of interpersonal violence and emotional harm.
• Emotional restriction in men is associated with higher rates of depression, isolation, and shortened life expectancy.

🔥 WHAT YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH

You will leave with:
• A deeper understanding of your rage—not as “just anger,” but as meaning, history, and protection.
• Insight into how identity fragmentation shows up in your relationships, decision-making, and emotional life.
• The ability to recognize when you are approaching your edge before harm happens or continues.
• Tools to interrupt patterns in real time.
• Language to understand what you feel beyond anger.
• A beginning plan of accountability for your own healing—not performative, but actionable.
• Access to resources and referrals to continue your healing beyond this space.

⚙️ WHAT WE WILL DO TOGETHER
• Grounding (body + breath)
• Teaching (rage, fragmentation, masculinity, power)
• Guided reflection + open process
• Integration (what did you learn about yourself?)
• Accountability charge (how will you move differently?)

🗣️ LET’S BE CLEAR
You are NOT being blamed.
But you ARE being called forward.

✊🏾 FINAL WORD

“When we heal in honesty, we can show up and love differently.”
