A little beauty that keeps on giving.

This weekend, after another beautiful wedding, our couple wasn’t sure what to do with their gorgeous florals once the celebrations were over. We suggested donating them to a local hospice, and they absolutely loved the idea!

On Sunday, we collected the arrangements and gave them a second home, where they could bring a little light and happiness to someone else’s day.

This is something so close to our hearts at MG Event Planning. When my husband and I got married, we donated all of our wedding florals to a hospice, and it’s something I will forever encourage our couples to consider.

Your wedding flowers brought so much beauty to your special day. Why not let them bring a little joy to someone else’s?

Sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.

The summer I got engaged 💕 (and also worked with 9 incredible couples!)

With autumn officially in full swing, I wanted to look back at this amazing summer with a little photo dump. Some are professional images, some are snapshots I captured myself, and each one captures a tiny slice of a very special day.

Working weddings while missing my overseas fiancé has made me extra emotional, but nothing could diminish the joy in my heart at seeing these love birds stepping into the next chapter of their lives together.

I’m in the thick of working through my wonderful Autumn weddings, but this makes me so excited for next summer!

Just received these two beautiful bouquets; two brides, one story and a collection of keepsakes waiting to be created. 🩷🖤🤍

There is something incredibly special about preserving the flowers that walked down the aisle with you. Flowers that were there for the happy tears, the laughter, the promises and the beginning of a new chapter together.

These two bouquets came from the same beautiful day and in time, they’ll become a collection of handmade pieces to be enjoyed, displayed and held onto for years to come, each one carrying a little piece of the story they share.

Two bouquets. One beautiful beginning. A lifetime of memories still to come.

Stories can be told in so many ways. Through photographs, through words, through the things we keep close to us and sometimes through the flowers that were there when it all began.

I feel so honoured to have been trusted with these blooms and to play a small part in preserving this chapter of their story. I cannot wait to begin processing them, carefully preparing each flower and seeing these beautiful bouquets slowly transform into something they can continue to enjoy long after their wedding day has passed.

And this is something I will always believe: My studio is a place for love stories of all kinds.
