That’s a wrap for the English Open 2026 ⛳️

Yesterday saw John Catlin crowned the champion after a 7-hole playoff!!

We’ve had a blast hosting the tournament - the golfers have treated us to some exceptional golf and the spectators brought the lively atmosphere 🙌

Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, worked long days, weeks and months to make this tournament so successful - it has been complimented by many!

Until 2027 🫡

The English Open has arrived this week at The Vale Golf & Country Club and not only are we bringing you content from on-course, we’re also taking you behind the scenes of the tournament ⛳️

We got to take a tour on the Training & Recovery Unit, where the players spend time before and after their rounds - this Unit travels with the players on tour and is both a gym and recovery area.

We particularly enjoyed the @therabody Units!

If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see from BTS - drop us a comment and let us know 🏌️‍♂️

You may have seen the news yesterday, announcing that the DP World Tour and England Golf are resurrecting the English Open - one of the most historic national Open titles in the game, and we are delighted to be the first venue hosting the relaunched event next month ⛳️

The English Open supported by HotelPlanner will take place on 18-21 June, with a prize of £300,000 🏌️‍♀️

We are incredibly excited to showcase our newly renovated golf course; one which will challenge some of the most elite golfers in the world.

We hope that by hosting the tournament, which will be globally televised by SkySports, that we can engage the local community and golf enthusiasts nationwide.

Entry is free and spectators are welcome!

We hope to see you there 🫡
