So I think it's either this or TMBH that was my best meal of the week. I think the last time I visited Black Tap was seven years ago so my memory of it was slightly hazy but I'm glad I revisited because it was good! I think there are two highlights:

1) Black Tap is one of the very few places in Singapore I know that serve lamb burgers and boy do they serve a wicked one! I specifically asked for medium rare, and it was PERFECT. JUST LOOK AT THE LAMB PATTY IN PIC 3 😍😍 the lamb had that kick of strong lamb flavour and fragrance which I so love. But SL commented that it's very "smelly" (i.e. gamey in most people's views) so it's probably not gonna be everyone's cup of tea but the strong flavour is exactly what I love about it!!! I miss it already actually 😭

2) They have the best onion rings that should really be called onion bracelets because they're HUGEEE (pic 1)!! 😍😍 and they're real onions - not the flour-y kind of fake onion rings - deep fried so well because the batter is so thin yet crispy and fragrant (pic 5). Probably best onion rings I've had.

I tried TK's classic cookies & cream milkshake and it was so good as well – literally felt like I was drinking McFlurry. We also got a seasonal special umami chicken wings (pic 8) to share and they were juicy and pretty nice. JC got the sweet potato fries as his side (pic 6) and it was in such a huge portion 😍 I really liked the sweet potato fries but my colleagues preferred the normal fries (which I thought were good too).

I think my only issue though was I didn't actually find the lettuce and pickle and tomato - which were served apart from the rest of the burger - super necessary hahahaha I didn't touch those. They - and the onions atop my lamb patty - looked a bit too raw and were slightly unappetising to me 😂 and maybe the bun could have been a bit more fragrant somehow. And if the burger was slightly bigger that would have been great. But it was nonetheless a great meal.

Service of the staff was also good - they were very friendly and patient - though the food did take some time to arrive. But the staff did prep us on that. Will definitely be back!

[🇸🇬] @blacktapsg 🍔🍺 Burgers, beers & good vibes at Black Tap Singapore!

Finally got to try The Chairman Burger — and honestly, this one is a serious burger! 🤤🔥

Juicy prime beef, melted provolone, mortadella, salami, olive giardiniera, roasted garlic aioli and parsley… basically, everything I love packed into one ridiculously indulgent burger. 🍔

And because burgers are always better with a cold craft beer 🍺, I also got to check out the Lion Brewery Tap Takeover, with a selection of craft brews and a tasting flight to try.

Definitely a good spot for a casual date, dinner with friends, or just when you’re craving a proper juicy burger with a drink on the side! ❤️

@blacktapsg is known for its juicy burgers, giant milkshakes and craft beers 🍔🥤🍺

They’ve recently launched a limited-time special that’s also a personal favourite of co-founder Chris Barish — The Chairman Burger 👑🍔

Made with prime beef, melted provolone, mortadella, salami, olive giardiniera, roasted garlic aioli and parsley. Basically, a whole lot of flavour packed between two buns 🤤

Available exclusively from 1–30 September 2026!

We also tried the Cali Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Black Pepper Lamb Burger. Both came in really generous portions and tasted fresh🍔 The Texas Wings and Guac & Chips are great options to add on for sharing too.

And of course, no visit to Black Tap is complete without their iconic, over-the-top CrazyShakes 🤩 They’ve now got CrazySundaes too 🍨 towering, colourful and definitely made for the ‘gram!
