“We set out to create a timeless piece, and from the start, we made a bold, intentional choice: to shoot in black and white.

The director, @iamdaveduncan told me, “Dani, this song is a new art—it’s the highlight of the artist debut album. I want us to create something that will be remembered forever.” Black and white carries a certain mystery, a lasting depth, and that’s why we committed to it.

Even when the colored footage looked absolutely stunning during filming—and trust me, it was tempting! 🤣—and even when the director himself wavered, thinking twice about the choice… I stood by the vision. This was more than just an aesthetic; it was about crafting a legacy in monochrome.
