one of the last photos i took of liv. she looks great as she always did. i miss her so much, it’s been so nice having everyone in my life be so supportive. i don’t even know what to say. i just love and miss her a lot. this is never something i would’ve expected and it’s been extremely hard to cope with it. im just hoping that one day ill be able to carry this weight comfortably. we had so many plans. so many things we wanted to see and do together. you’ve already sent me so many signs and i find so much comfort in that.

I already gave my eulogy so i’m gonna keep this short.

It’s amazing how something so grim can lead to so much joy. It’s been a pleasure getting to see just how many people Liv had an effect on. She knew she was loved. Thanks for keeping me busy during this horrendous week. Don’t be strangers.

My Olivia, my sun to my moon, my missing rib, the one to whom I turned on my darkest days. You made a home for me in your heart the first day we met, but four years was not nearly enough time. You had such an incredible way of making everyone fall in love with you the minute you met them. You are ubiquitous. Your heart touched every single corner of this city and then some. You celebrated all of my victories, both minute and monumental, and always showed me the light at the end of the tunnel when I was looking the wrong way. You were radiant, resilient, the most organically beautiful person I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, whose infectious laugh was the antidote for any bad day. From strangers, to best friends, to roommates, to now our guardian angel… I am forever in debt to you. Thank you for showing me incessant empathy, patience, and love in our time together earth side. No combination of the same 26 letters will ever be able to describe how I feel. We were supposed to have more time. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to say goodbye. I love you to the moon and beyond. Sleep well, Liv.
