Biked to Canada to see some great friends

Thank you to the sport that made a dream come true. I never thought this would be the way I ended things, but sometimes life has a different plan. With that said, I have decided to step away from cross country and track due to health-related issues.

Running has been such a massive part of my life, and I am so grateful for everything it has given me. It made a kid’s dream of going D1 a reality and has given me so many memories that I’ll carry forever. More importantly, it has brought so many amazing people, teammates, and coaches into my life that I never would have had the chance to meet without this sport.

To all my coaches, teammates, friends, and especially family who helped and supported me along the way, I am forever thankful. I would especially like to thank my Dad, who stepped into a coaching role for me when I needed it the most. I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without him and the sacrifices he made for me.

I don’t know exactly what my relationship with running will look like from here, but I know the impact this sport has had on my life will never leave me.

Forever grateful for the miles, the memories, and the people. Thank you, running. 🫶
