Grateful to attend the NBPA Charles B. Morton Jr. Awards Dinner.

It was an honor to celebrate the commitment of my colleagues across the aisle who work hard in an important role in our justice system.

#FBF Thinking about my grandparents today. I can’t wait for my baby girl to meet her great-grandparents next year 🙏🏿🇭🇹.

No matter how old I get, I still feel like a little kid around them. Am I the only one?

Congratulations to the Charles B. Morton South Florida Chapter of the National Black Prosecutors Association on their installation and awards dinner on Saturday night.

Outgoing president Leonard Thompson recognized the 2024 Black Excellence Spirit of Service award winners, United States Attorney for the Southern District Markenzy Lapointe and Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District, Cam Smith, and the previous year recipient, Harold F. Pryor Jr., Broward County State Attorney.

With family, friends, and the organization's namesake faithfully in attendance, the Honorable Gordon Murray Sr. swore in the 2024-2025 Board under the leadership of president Andrew Vinson. In his installation speech, president Vinson, an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, talked about the important role of prosecutors and the commitment to a fair and efficient justice system.

Thank you for your leadership and continued support of the Miami-Dade Bar.

Thank you to everyone who was able to make the drive to the baby shower last week! And those who couldn't ♾️We appreciate all the kind words of encouragement and the gifts everyone gave us. Our baby girl is spoiled even from the womb and I couldn’t be happier. Just beyond grateful 🥹 We truly appreciate this village so much! I love y’all 🫂 #BabyMillerOnTheWay

Congratulations to President Dwayne Robinson and the @wdfjba on its annual scholarship and installation gala! Congrats to all the scholarship and award recipients as well as to the board on its installation tonight. It was particularly moving to see Diane Kennedy always part of the @saomiami family receive the award for black judicial excellence on behalf of her husband, the late Hon. Eric Wm. Hendon.

Today is the @blackprosecutors1983 national day of service, and our local chapter volunteered our time with @lotushouseshelter. It was our pleasure to prepare and serve meals for many deserving and at risk families in our community. We are proud to serve inside and outside the courtroom. #NBPA #ChangeAgents #BlackProsecutorsBuildComminuty
