That’s one of the things we’re talking about with integrative health practitioner Jen Oknin: “meno belly,” changing bodies, and why the conversation goes beyond trying harder to lose weight.

From energy and brain fog to nutrition, strength, and finding support, we’re talking perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

Your body changed the rules. Let’s talk about it. 💙

For World Menopause Day, we’re opening up a conversation about perimenopause, menopause, and beyond—the changes nobody mentioned, the questions we’re asking, and finding support when we don’t feel like ourselves.

Join us and integrative health practitioner Jen Oknin for “When Your Body Changes the Rules: Making Sense of Menopause.” A little girlfriend talk, plenty to think about, and a reminder that it’s worth speaking up.

Some of the biggest changes women face are the ones we’re least comfortable talking about. 💛 Menopause at work is one of them—and just one part of this conversation.

Integrative health practitioner @jenoknin Jen Oknin joins us to talk perimenopause, menopause, and beyond—from brain fog and energy to weight changes, strength, and getting support when you don’t feel like yourself.

Our Seed & Spark campaign ended last week, and although we didn't hit our goal to receive funding, the outpouring of support and the opportunity to share the vision of Lowkey Moxie and find collaborators in spaces we wouldn't have had access to otherwise are proof that it was still a success.

We already have plans to pivot our fundraising efforts, including continuing to apply for grants and creating investment opportunities that won't impact our ability to provide profit sharing for our cast and crew. Here are some ways you can continue to support us.

If you still wish to contribute financially, you can do so through our fiscal sponsorship, which is linked in our bio. This will allow you to make a tax-deductible contribution (in the US), and if you work for a company that offers matching donations, you can double your gift!

If you don't already, follow us here and wherever else you are on social media, and be sure to like and share our posts when you see them. Building our community and showing engagement in our posts will be our most important assets until we release our first show.

Let's keep in touch! It's sometimes hard to answer the question "how can I help?" when there are so many facets to building this company. Whether your strengths are in creative or business, in the industry or out, I'd love to find the best way to collaborate if that's how you choose to support.

Some of us trust most everybody. Others assume everyone has an ulterior motive. Lanée’s advice? Lean toward what you may be missing—discernment if you trust too quickly, and openness if you’ve become too guarded. 💛

The goal isn’t to be naive or cynical. It’s to let God’s wisdom help us find the balance.

Seeing is no longer always believing—but we don’t have to become cynical about everyone and everything. 💛

How do we recognize what’s manufactured, value what’s authentic and rely on God’s wisdom without closing our hearts? We’re talking about it in our new episode, Can We Trust Anyone—or Anything—Anymore?

Some thoughts roll through loud and fast, like a passing train. You may not be able to stop them from showing up, but you can pause before you believe them or let them shape your day.

“Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5

It’s much easier to ask God to show us what our spouse needs to change. 😅 But Psalm 139 turns the prayer inward: “Search me.”

Even if we’re only 10% of the problem, that 10% is still ours to work on. Hear more in 7 Steps to Lasting Love: Keeping Your Relationship Strong, out now wherever you get your podcasts. 🎧❤️
