Maybe I say this too much. Maybe I just love this job too much. But seriously, I could not be more excited about the lineup of contributors in the May/June issue for CT. There were a number of people that graced our pages that I've been looking forward to working with for a long time—Derek Barney's paper sculptures, James Lee Chiahan's oil paintings, Micha Huigen and Owen Gent's illustration. It was really a joy to work with all these folks. And on top of that, several of our returning contributors churned out some of my favorite work yet!

This issue discusses our society's preoccupation with panic and anxiety from several angles. Using the vast array of notifications on our phones, I worked with Luigi Olivadoti again on the cover to capture all things in our modern lives that make us anxious. Ronan Lynam deftly took us back to the ominous events of January 6, 2021. And the James Walton duo (Chris Gash and Pete Ryan) came up with a herd of frolicking gods for our opening story on panic.

Posting a couple other features separately too. All of it is best seen in print, so go grab a copy.
