11 days after jaw surgery, 13 days before I turn 22.

Mount Timpanogos, September 12. Trailhead at 1:30am, 5 of us, no sleep. 14 miles. On the summit at 6:37, 27 minutes before the sun, in a fur hat and a flag bandana because it was that cold. Somebody carried hot dogs up.

Car at 11:30Am. Boating after. Home at midnight. Slept 17 hours.

Nobody films the 7 miles down.

Car at 11:30am. Went boating after. Home at midnight. 17 hours of sleep.

Mount Timpanogos at sunrise, 14 miles. The ending got filmed in a basement the next night.
