Mama and Baby boy have been outside this summer! Can’t say we didn’t have a blast, a couple mishaps but a blast nonetheless.

There was no greater honor than wearing my mother’s wedding dress for my reception. A piece of her love story became part of mine, and that is something I’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Mom, for letting me carry a little piece of your heart into this new chapter. 🫶🏾

BEYOND BLESSED by our experience @spendintheblack this weekend!!

Saturday would’ve just been a cold, rainy, dreary day if not for all the love we felt from EVERYBODY who came out to support Black-owned businesses in Chicago.

We’re especially grateful for @progressivechicago @salem_chicago for hosting an incredible event and @beanieboamah @iamroynetta_iamhair making sure we applied on time😅🙏🏽

Spend in the Black will forever be that one day out the year that really proves the power of faith, friends, and family, all showing up and showing out for our shared health and wealth.

Team Ruby was all hands on deck with non-stop support from @miles.menafee @symonespeech @blakeamber @april_martin0817 and @jan_menafee 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Now with a successful Spend in the Black in the books, we’re looking forward to an awesome April and start to the spring!
