Well everyone, the time has come. Unfortunately, after nearly 20 wonderful years, we will be closing our doors for the last time on April 25th.
I’ve poured everything I have into keeping this store going, and I’m so grateful for every single one of you who has supported us along the way. If you’re able to stop in one last time before the 25th, it would mean the world to me. Your support will help me wrap things up and step into the next chapter with a lighter heart.
It has truly been an honor to serve this community for almost two decades. Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives, and thank you for being such a big part of mine. I’ve loved seeing so many of you walk through these doors over the years.
The retail world has gotten tough, but that doesn’t take away from all the good memories we’ve made here together. If you see me out and about, please don’t hesitate to say hello — I’d love to catch up.
Before I go, I want to say a special thank you to the most important people in my life: my incredible wife and daughter, who gave me the chance and the support to do this; my mother, father, and brother for always having my back; and all my dear friends who came through for me — you know who you are. I truly could not have done any of this without each and every one of you.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. It’s been a privilege and a joy.

One week away! Come out on Friday, 12/15, to help celebrate 20 years of Cardinal! I’m stoked to show some of my older skate photos alongside a group of other talented photographers, giving you a peek into multiple generations of skateboarding in Hampton Roads! I chose photos from about 2002-2015, some film and some digital. Come check it out, and bring something to donate to the Food Bank! There’s also a skate jam on Saturday, so come to that too!
