I spent earlier this month working on the Volume unit for the new Fallout season. It was a truly awesome experience and worked along side the best cast and crew in the biz! As the episodes come out I’ll post some cool behind the scenes photos and some of our plots. Check it out on Amazon prime tonight!

Euro nymphing up a gorgeous brook trout in some killer pocket water on a Loomis 10’ 2wt. I still have one of these rods fresh off the bench for sale.
Made the switch from dries and streamers to nymphs but still fishing under an indicator? I love indicator fishing, but there’s something about a lower weight rod, light tippet, and tight lining a long leader that is unbelievably effective. Using that long leader as a strike indicator itself is deadly and puts fish in the net quick.

I think this one belongs in @fieldandstream or @flyfishermanmagazine. I know I’ll be framing this one. @blakefarnham getting up early with me to snap some photos while I nymph some killer brookies out of an iconic river. He said he got his camera focused and the exposure dialed for this shot and I would totally agree. Blake also got into his first fish on a fly rod this weekend, productive few days for him!

Savoring the last seconds of sunlight knowing that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Forever grateful for the cards I’ve been dealt, even during the hard times.

Saint Lucia in 35mm.
Shot these using an old Pentax Spotmatic from 1964 loaded with some Kodak Portra 400 with Asahi Super Takumar lenses.
This was my first test run with this old girl. Learned a lot, some the hard way as I shot another entire roll that never advanced resulting in absolute failure. But I love the results from the shots that did come out.
Hope you enjoy.
