My birthday day, May 10th! Road tripping to Lake Tahoe for an adventure packed day with my love @blakeone 💗

We drove into Southlake Tahoe and had lunch @freshiesohana then headed to the East side of Tahoe into the Nevada side. We went over to incline village into King’s beach and stopped to have coffee @treehousecafekingsbeach 💗

We headed up to the Donner pass to go hiking and it was snowed in. From there we decided to go to the central old town Truckee which was beautiful. We visited @gallery5830 & spent time @alibialeworks and met some cool locals to talk to about the area. We got home around 8:15 PM after we left at 10 AM.

Thanks to all of you that wished me a happy birthday, I appreciate your messages, calls, and texts! 💗

With love,
Joan 💕

Kicking off new years day with our traditional hike. We explored Sly Park, showcasing Jenkinson Lake, a nine mile loop around the lake. Enjoy the soundscape while experiencing the serene view of the forest (for-REST). A Invigorating and rejuvenating experience. Happy New Year! 🎊

With love gratitude, and appreciation for y’all , may 2025 be your best personal year yet. 💝

The Sun sets in the west and lights up the canopy of trees in the north east. Spring showers produce some of the most amazing rainbows @chaletsunray 🌈✨🌲

With the arrival of spring and the March full moon, also known as the Worm Moon, there will be a penumbral lunar eclipse too. Lovers of astronomical phenomena will have plenty of reasons to watch the sky. The peak of the Worm Moon’s splendour will be on March 25 at 3 AM, ET.

Full moon vibes @chaletsunray 🌚

Our guests @chaletsunray enjoy a visit to @casinomineranch for wine tasting, small bites, and made to order pizza. Beautiful views with ample seating indoors and out. Try the 2019 Marcel, our personal favorite!

Tis’ the season for daffodils @chaletsunray, we love their sunny disposition. 🥰
(This photo is special, because there’s a soft spoken rainbow too.)

The meaning of The daffodil symbolizes rebirth and new beginnings. It’s one of the first flowers to bloom at the end of winter, announcing the beginning of spring and signifying the end of the cold, dark days. Daffodils may also symbolize creativity, energy, resilience, forgiveness and vitality. 💛

Also pictured is Claytonia perfoliata, commonly known as miner's lettuce, rooreh, Indian lettuce, or winter purslane, is a flowering plant in the family Montiaceae. It is an edible, fleshy, herbaceous, annual plant native to the western mountain and coastal regions of North America. 🌱

Beautiful sunsets and tasteful wines @bumgarnerwinery 🤩✨🍷✨

Currently, my favorite bottle of wine from @bumgarnerwinery is the 2020 Barbara El Dorado. 👌

It’s a wrap from our weekend @mellowoodvineyard! Our neighbor and friends @mellowoodvineyard participated in the holiday on Omo Christmas fair. We had so much fun with Mariam, KK, and Loree, and the guests (new and seasoned)! The Alpacas of El Dorado (Laurie and Scott) brought Captain Jack (pictured), and singer/ musician Tom Powers (pictured) performed all the classic rock songs, and a few country songs too. The vendors had excellent gifts for family and friends alike, and @mellowoodvineyard wine tastings, complimentary mulled wine, plus great food and company!! 🍷✨🎄☃️🎁🦙
