Yesterday was 1 week post op and I couldn’t be more impressed with Blake’s progress and his easy going attitude. He does exactly what he’s told by his PT and yesterday he was able to bend his knee 95 degrees. Still have a long way to go, but I’m so glad the hard part is behind us and we just keep moving forward and getting stronger each day 🫶🏼 Ava has been an excellent nurse as she stepped in when we’re at work and I don’t have to worry at all. I can see that she picked the perfect field to major in 👩‍⚕️ Friend and family have been amazing with keeping a smile on Blake’s face ❤️

I’m so proud of Blake. He went to school yesterday and then had Ava drop him off at a job where he worked for 5 1/2 hours yesterday. We picked him up and he was working until the sun went down. He pressure washed siding, gutters and all the concrete at his customers house who he was referred to. He started his side hustle last summer and keeps getting more and more happy customers, which keeps leading to more referrals. I love his work ethic! 👏

I got exactly what I REALLY wanted today….and that was to spend ALL day with my favorite people and dog 😍 It started with a great breakfast cooked by my chef 🧑‍🍳 BK. Then the kids got me such sweet gifts that they spent their hard earned money on. We took a walk on the Loveland bike trail with the other 7 million people that decided to do the same thing today 😉 (it was a gorgeous day!). Then Ava hinted we needed to get an açaí bowl at Playa Bowl, then Blake hinted he and Brad needed Graeters, so off we went…both delish 😋 We tried out the new workout area at a nearby park….that turned into Comedy Central 😂😂 I’m glad there’s no video to prove my skills…🤦🏼‍♀️ Finished the night off with one of my fav pizzas and root beer float. Off to bed with a full ❤️

Blake’s off to DC today with his school. I can’t wait to hear all about it when he gets home.
