Went out hunting for some 2023 @topps chrome today but apparently it wasnt #releaseday in Quebec yet 🙄

Whats up with that @fanatics , can I get some chrome please⁉️

I needed to get my hands on some new cards, luckily my packages from @sportscardscommunity were there waiting for me at home. We ripped some 2023 Bowman on @blakes.breaks Whatnot page, and you know I was chasing my boy @edouardjulien but wasnt lucky enough to hit any colors 🤷🏻‍♂️

You win some, you lose some, but you keep ripping some! 😂 #keepcollecting

Heritage Auctions is excited to announce that we will be hosting a box break of the 1st Edition Base Set Pokemon Booster Box!

All 36 packs will be auctioned individually on Heritage Auctions' website. The option to have the packs opened live, or have them sent to you, "ripped or shipped", is available.

The box will be opened on Friday, July 28th, 2023 at 3:30 PM, by none other than former NFL star Blake Martinez! @blakes.breaks

The event will take place live, and in front of thousands, at the main stage of The National Sports Collectors Convention, held at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, IL.

It will also be live-streamed on the BlakesBreaks Whatnot page for viewers at home to tune in!

The packs will be pulled from the box during the live event, at which point they will be shuffled and assigned a number at random.

The opening will occur in numerical order starting with pack #1, up to the amount chosen to be ripped.

Each winning bidder that elects to have their pack ripped will also receive free grading and a pedigree of the event for ALL cards by Certified Guaranty Company (CGC Trading Cards).

Bidding begins at $1,000 per pack and ends July 23rd, so be sure to place your bids soon!

What’s the most interesting post-NFL career?

Pokémon Salesman 👀

Linebacker Blake Martinez played seven NFL seasons with the Giants, Packers, and the Raiders. He led the league in combined tackles with 144 in 2017.

Martinez started selling cards during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The former linebacker officially launched his company, Blake’s Breaks, in 2022. And now, Martinez has 15 employees and two warehouses.

This passion for cards led to a new career, where Martinez has made more than 5 million dollars in the last seven months alone.

To put that into perspective, Martinez’s 2022 contract with the Raiders was worth $1.035 million.

Martinez’s largest sale was a card sold at auction for $672,000 in October.

He says the best part of running a business is that he doesn’t have back or shoulder pain anymore.
