Introducing OU Dance’s Newest Alumni!!

Senior, Blake Vest from Prosper, Texas, graduated on Saturday with a BFA in Modern Dance Performance and a degree in Finance. Congratulations, Blake!

Favorite memory at OU?
My most cherished memories at the School of Dance include the privilege of choreographing for YCS in 2025 and 2026. Having the opportunity to collaborate with dancers across various grades and majors was a truly special experience that I will always hold close to my heart.

What advice would you give your Freshman self?
My advice to my younger self would be to stop comparing your journey to anyone else’s! Trust the process, embrace your unique pace, and know that you are exactly where you need to be.

What are your plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation are to work in finance while auditioning for dance companies and opportunities.

Congratulations, Blake! We are so proud of you!!
