We've been going to this car event for the last 15+ years with some of our most favorite people, and I love that our kids get to have this special week every summer together now, also. 🥰 #candyvan #90ssummer #carshow #kickball #frisbeegolf

Studio Day at @gtechniq_na The Z3 M Coupe has always been one of those cars I’ve had a soft spot for. People call it the “clown shoe,” and I get why, but once you understand what BMW was trying to do, it starts to make a lot more sense. The shape isn’t just quirky, it’s functional. That shooting brake design stiffened the chassis in a big way and gave the car a much more planted, connected feel than the roadster it was based on. This one is especially cool to me. Evergreen over Evergreen interior is already a rare spec, but what really sets it apart is the S54 swap. Evergreen cars never came with the S54 from the factory, so seeing one built the way a lot of us wish BMW had done, is pretty special. It takes everything that made the M Coupe unique and pairs it with one of the best engines BMW ever made. Coated in Crystal Serum Ultra & EXOV5 for a training class with EAG 2 years ago. This coating still looks brand new.

Over 800 miles of driving in three days- thrashing the mountain roads of West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina in a car pushing almost 30 years old. It was an absolute blast, and really made me remember why I spend so much time wrenching on this thing, so I can actually enjoy it in the environment it thrives in. The coupe community is an awesome one. #z3m #bmw
