I had to 😂
But seriously the messages I get the day after every wedding when I send the couple the link to their video clips and when they get their edited videos .. it’s just the best!

snapshots of september 🎞️🐞🍂

the month started off busy in the salon during the weekdays, weddings on the weekends, a styled shoot I did hair for in the middle of the month, then did a few more regular cut and colour appointments before packing my bags. towards the end of the month, I kicked back into a slower pace for some time abroad to relax & recharge.🏔️

september has been very busy and yet so refreshing for me in the best way — thank you for allowing me to take this time to step away.🫶🏼

*I am still out of the salon until Thanksgiving weekend*

The perfect wedding morning starts with your favourite girls, a little glam, and all the excitement for what’s about to come 🤍✨

There’s something so special about getting ready together — the music, the laughs, the happy tears, and watching everything finally come together.

Your wedding morning should feel just as beautiful as the rest of your day 🥂💍

Your wedding spray tan is NOT something I recommend leaving to chance.

Here’s why every bride should book a trial:

𝟭. 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁
Your result depends on how YOUR skin reacts to the solution, and everyone develops differently. A trial lets us see how your skin develops so we can adjust your wedding tan if needed.

𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗻.
Even if you’ve had a million spray tans before, if you want something different for your wedding, we need to trial it. Your bridal tan should complement your dress, makeup, season, overall wedding look and even your photographer’s editing style — your wedding appointment shouldn’t be the first time we try that version of your tan.

𝟯. 𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘁.
If you wake up on your wedding day wishing you had gone lighter, darker or done something differently, there’s nothing we can do to change it. Your wedding week shouldn’t be the first time we discover how your skin reacts.

𝟰. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗼
Especially if you’ve never had a spray tan before. Prep and aftercare make a huge difference, and a trial helps us identify anything that needs tweaking.

The point of a trial isn’t because I expect your first tan to be bad. It’s so that when your wedding appointment arrives, we already know what works for YOU. 🤎

Please don’t let your wedding tan be your trial run.

Had the absolute joy of photographing this editorial at @auroravalleyvenue this past week, and I left feeling so inspired ✨️ There was a live painter, horses, the prettiest details, and so many thoughtful touches that brought the whole vision together.

So here are a few images for inspiration if you’re dreaming of a western-inspired wedding 🐎
