This year I was proud to realise a dream and present the first live performances of my passion project @a__part__art . I believe in art for everybody. I believe in the importance of making and sharing more art. I believe in art’s role in finding purpose, connection and in mirroring the world we live in. This is why I started A_PART, and after 5 years of facilitating artist exchanges between Australia and Indonesia, creating short films and leading community workshops, the creation and performance of new work was the ultimate goal. I’m immensely grateful that it happened! Now I want to continue these live shows and give more artists an opportunity to create, and bring these shows to more people. A_PART LIVE_02 in 2027 will hopefully grow from the beautiful seeds that were planted this year. And I’m asking for your help in furthering the dream. A_PART is one of hundreds of arts organisations across the country, participating in this year’s Aus Art Day, driving awareness of the tireless work of the sector and uniting to summon support. I’d be so appreciative if you would consider donating (link in bio, or head to a-part.co and follow links to A_PART LIVE). Another thing I believe in is art as dialogue. I can make and make and make, but the cycle of that endeavour is incomplete without its sharing and recieving. The art is nothing without the artist; we find purpose in dialogue with our audience. How cool a universe it would be, where money wasn’t a thing. But for better or worse, we live in a universe where it is. Asking for money is gross. I don’t like it. But framing it as a way of showing support for the art I’ve shared with you, dear followers, is perhaps a far nicer way to impel an exchange of energy. Sending love and huge thanks to all, I wouldn’t be here still, punking my way through this life in art, without you xo video documentation by @gdocs.co from A_PART LIVE_01 2026 with @samsaljooghi music by @kadapat___ @kasimyn @samsaljooghi

‎. کوه ꦒꦸꦤꦸꦤ꧀ꦒ꧀ MOUNTAIN ‎ Photos by @jsvisualdiaries with @samsaljooghi for @a__part__art at @blancstudiobyronbay - Bundjalung Country, September 2026 Next week is @creative.australia AUSART DAY, and @a__part__art will be getting involved to raise funds for the next shows - A_PART LIVE_02 👏 After the success of A_PART LIVE_01 last month - bringing independent live performance on an intimate scale to industrial venues in Gold Coast and Byron Bay - the writing is on the wall: local audiences are hungry for these accessible immersions into art. And I intend to provide them! Next year’s iteration will platform other artists in the region, of which there is an abundance. I’m so excited for what the future holds, and hope that you can help support us to get there together 🙏🤍 more details will come next week, but for now please follow @a__part__art to stay up to date with our work, connecting artists and communities in and between Australia, Indonesia and the rest of the world. This project and the creation of MOUNTAIN were supported by the City of Gold Coast’s Arts Development Fund @gcartsandculture

Forces of realms beyond us are powerful beyond our control, beyond our understanding; we simply answer to the call, move into the pull of the portal, release, and become. 👹 Roro Xeno images by @m_mpix from @a__part__art LIVE_01 performance last weekend on Bundjalung Country/Byron Bay. I am still processing these shows {and kinda have to be quick about it coz I’m already deeply inside the next project, plus I have to submit an acquittal for this one pretty soon 😵‍💫🤪} but I will take a moment to again thank my superb little team for helping make it happen - producer Michaela Coventry @sage_arts_australia, production manager/lighting designer/all-round tech witch @redtornado_arts, Mountain collaborator and sound @samsaljooghi, FOH Angel @megstoios, and @jsvisualdiaries of @blancstudiobyronbay for design and support and general awesomeness. Thank you also to @natural_order_wine and @oftheearth___ for elevating the event with your local drinks with philosophies that align so beautifully with A_PART’s. Terima kasih, matur nuwun, thank you. Let’s do it again @gcartsandculture! 🙏
