a little behind the scenes of how our snuggly cellular bubba blankets came to life 🐑🤍

looking back at these snippets gives me butterflies. so many samples, colour tweaks, late (late!) nights and little decisions that went into bringing this idea to life.

i started @blankei_ alongside a full-time job, launched in peak COVID, with zero buying experience and a manufacturer who thought i was bonkers (still does FYI 😂). just a vision for something a little different for our babies, and a lot of figuring it out as i went.

7 colours, 2 more in the works and 2 babies later…

are we where i want us to be yet? not quite. there’s lots happening behind the scenes and things I’d love to develop and change, alongside life with a newborn 👀

but looking back at where it all started and how far we’ve come, it’s a pretty special feeling knowing this little idea is now a real thing. and we’re only just getting started 🤍✨💭 thanks for being here.

this time of year means adding an extra layer… only for those tiny toes to sneak straight back out 👀🍂

sunshine, toe snacks and a @blankei_ cellular baby blanket — pretty much the perfect autumn setup! 🌞if you like soft, breathable and easy to layer then it’s the kind of bubba blanket you’ll reach for on repeat 🤍

swipe to the end for my fave BTS sound!!! 👶🏻

still always love meeting up with friends and their newborns, toddlers and kiddies all have their fave colour @blankei_ with them for comfort - genuinely attached and genuinely love them 🫶🏼 i’ve roped in lots of bestie’s bubbas for shoots and tbh, i love it 🥹 it makes the shoots feel so much more personal, give them a taste and to be on the behind the scenes journey with them (especially when shooting and styling yourself!) and when the photos come back they just hit different?! also grateful for the influx of babies in the girl group 😮‍💨 IYKYK 🤍
