Early sketches exploring massing options for four new infill #rowhomes adjacent to the new Parkview Recreation Center in Penn North. The first option is a classic “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach. Our architectural ancestors just about cracked the code on rowhomes in the early 20th century and these small spaces have been serving Baltimoreans for generations. The second option is more site specific, asking what can be accomplished with a smaller footprint / less disturbance. This creates a larger rear yard and park view terrace. The setback third floor maintains visual continuity with the adjacent historic homes.

We’re stoked to be collaborating with @onyx__development and @blankslatecdm to develop these new urban homes.

Good people, we continue to build this thing. And we’ve long said that we have the information in our network, but we need to pull it together.

There’s something powerful about sharing where you come from with the people who are figuring out where they’re going.

While in Baltimore, our founder @thelady.builder had the opportunity to spend time with students from @reexprograms during a workshop and tour with @blankslatecdm, sharing the story of Bridgeline Construction and the generations of builders and entrepreneurs who came before us.

These are the conversations that matter. Giving young people a real look at construction and real estate development, sharing what we’ve learned, and showing them what’s possible.

NDC is kicking off a new board term and a new chapter in our work as a civic intermediary and infrastructure-builder for community-led design across Maryland.

Our new executive committee — Anna Owen Dennis (President), Seema Iyer (Vice President), Ebony Landon (Treasurer), and Francisca Bonilla (Secretary) — brings deep experience in landscape architecture, humanitarian work, strategic leadership, real estate, and architecture to strengthen our regional role.

Nine new board members are also joining us this term, strengthening our role in placemaking and placekeeping with backgrounds in architecture, public art, construction, finance, community engagement, and cultural strategy.

Swipe to meet Ariana Parrish, Alex Aaron, Donzell Robinson, Davin Hong, Andrew Holmes, Terrence Nelson, Mickey Crowe, May Amoyaw, and Louise Griffin — leaders grounded in community ownership, trust, and creative problem-solving.

Honored to announce that after serving and working for The Presidents’ Roundtable since 2019, I’ve officially been accepted as a 2026 Associate Member.

This organization has done so much for me personally and professionally, and I can’t wait to continue to serve and see what amazing things we do for the Baltimore Black Business community during this next chapter with Jenn and James. Legacy!
