Question: Why do you do what you do?

Answer: For moments like this.
To stand in the wild and witness the next generation growing up exactly where they belong — free, wild, and protected in their natural habitat.

Because conservation isn’t only about protecting what we have today.
It’s about making sure there is something wild left for the generations that come after us.

Andrew has always had a deep love for Africa. Me? I’ve always been adventurous, but perhaps not quite to the same degree as him! 😅 So when he suggested we take the entire family to Africa, I’ll admit—I was a little nervous… but now, looking back, I wouldn’t change a single moment. ❤️

The adventure, the stay @blasersafaris , the incredible animals, the early mornings, the unforgettable moments together—it was worth every second. More than just a family vacation, it was an experience I hope will stay with our children for a lifetime. #livefortherise #christfamilyconservation

How can removing one animal help grow an entire population?

It sounds like a paradox—but when regulated hunting is grounded in science and the revenue is reinvested into conservation, the outcome can be more wildlife, not less.

Farmer Joe began with three rhinos. After losing one to poaching, he made the difficult decision to hunt one of the remaining males. The revenue allowed him to purchase three more rhinos: one male, one female and one female calf.

As the herd grew, another carefully selected male was hunted to prevent conflict with younger animals. That revenue funded additional rhino security and the purchase of another animal.

What began as three rhinos became nine.

The principle is simple: select an animal whose removal will not jeopardize population growth, give that animal economic value and reinvest the revenue directly into protecting habitat, strengthening security and growing the population.

When it is regulated, science-led and responsibly managed, hunting can create a powerful incentive to keep wildlife alive, protected and thriving.

That is the conservation paradox—and it is working for species around the world.

A little project I made for @blaser_official , called Confidence.

I wanted to approach this one a little differently and create something that feels more like a short hunting film than a traditional product piece.

This one was also a bit of a personal challenge for me, as I shot the whole film completely solo — even filming myself.

Really enjoyed putting this one together.

Dehorning rhinos is a costly yet highly effective protection strategy. Rhino horn is among the most valuable commodities on Earth, and by removing it, we remove the incentive for poachers to kill for it.
