FINAL THANKS TO: @blastrecording first and foremost. I had never been in a professional studio in my life and all of the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to a novice musician. To be able to record where heroes of mine have been recorded such as Sam Fender, Marmozets, Arctic Monkeys, among many others was a thrill I’ll never forget. Blast is one of the most incredible places I have ever visited, the facilities and equipment (more footage soon) available are staggering and staff couldn't be more helpful and passionate about music. Thank you to Andy Bell for all the muff (pedals), thanks to Patrick Smyth for finding my beloved Canadian Boards, and of course to Olly Cobb. The man who took five bedroom songs from a bedroom musician and used his sonic wizardry to make them something I will be proud of forever. Endless thanks to my parents, their support and excitement about me having recorded music, outweighs my own childish glee. I don’t have enough space to thank them for a lifetime of love, so they just get a paragraph...for now. Thank you to Owen for writing a song about never leaving Newcastle, then visiting over seventy countries and moving to France.  Thank you to Simma for getting me on stage and keeping me there. For teaching me how to take a compliment and for nailing his harmonica part on This Memory in one take.  Thank you to James Pallister for coming down to shred on She’s Like A Rainbow on twenty minutes notice.  Thank you to Daniel Gregson for making sense of my thoughts being on shuffle and for giving me the nicest and most motivating compliment of my life.  Thanks to Sam Wilkinson for his friendship in my loneliest days, for building me my own PC in lockdown, and for never complaining about the music coming out of my room. Thank you to Jennifer Latif for finding me sobbing on a bench at work, and carrying me into a new life and new friendships. Thank you to Amy Henwood for running out in the cold so I didn’t turn thirty alone and screaming at the shoe tree with me. Thanks to my Top Marks, for being my friends and my therapists through lockdown. I can never say how grateful I am. PART TWO IN THE COMMENTS...

A new little ditty from @patrickgoslingmusic lands today. ‘Peachy’ was recorded and mastered by @lisamurphy_music at @blastrecording. Mixed by my good self at @deptford_sound_studios. For the mix, Paddy referenced a track off Brothers by The Black Keys (I love that album!). I think we got pretty close! Vibes for days ✌️DMs open for any recording or mix work 🔊
