"It is true, we shall be monsters, cut off from all the world; but on that account we shall be more attached to one another".

A few days ago, A Modern Prometheus performed at Temple alongside Splayed, Repugnant Scum, Killing Spree, and Santorum. From start to finish, it was a magnificent night. We can't express our gratitude enough to Jade, Sputum Records, ConcertWorks, and The Starlite Room staff for organising and putting on such a special event to close off this week. A massive shoutout to our very own @Blastsquatch who performed in three bands over two days; Age of Ashes on Saturday, Repugnant Scum and us closing off the Sunday, an absolute monstrosity and legend behind the kit, raise a toast for the Blastsquatch. Despite the British weather hammering down for Edmonton for the last two weeks or so, it was a fantastic turnout and we're honoured that we all got to see Cam don the suit and begin this new chapter with A Modern Prometheus, what a debut it was. The crowd was immense, and we can not wait to show more art and nights of song with you again, so for now, thank you to all, and to all, goodnight.

This photo was proudly captured by @zukshoots 📸 thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for this scene. 🫀

This Friday will end, not just a chapter in A Modern Prometheus, but quite a milestone. After 8 years in AMP, our fretless rascal will be moving on from this project. It is with absolute respect and goodwill over Mats' departure, and we truly wish him nothing but the absolute best. So much has happened in the 8 years with already a few lineup changes, performing at festivals and being invited to open up for Be'lakor. Mat has been integral for keeping the flame of this band alive, with commitment and loyalty for close to nearly a decade showing his devotion and longevity. Come support Mat as he dons the suit once more this Friday.

Thank you for everything Mat 🖤

It's been a few days since @slaughterfest_yeg and we hope you enjoyed our set as much as we did. It's with deep privilege that we were invited to what might be the last Slaughterfest, so without further ado, thank you all for coming and supporting such an established event that has been paramount for the local Edmonton scene.
This would never have happened without Sean, @theredbehemoth, from the four of our blackened hearts we thank you for giving us this opportunity. We had to deliver for you and the scene you've worked tirelessly for twenty years.
Massive Cheers to @starliteroom and all staff for hosting such a memorable event, it's always been an honour to perform for you.

Until next time Edmonton, Carry The Flame.
⸸

A shoutout to our brothers in @eyeofhorusofficial for lending us their rhythm rascal, Ted, who undoubtedly has the best right hand in the West.

Edmonton, I’m always impressed with your continuous support of the metal scene. Last night at Slaughterfest, you completely showed up and I am very grateful to be apart of it. The reception that you all showed me and the rest of the band is very overwhelming, and we deeply appreciate it. I am still trying to catch up with a lot of people, so if you have any video or photo you’d love to send over, feel free.

Let’s take a second to thank Sean @theredbehemoth for making this happen. This could not have happened without him. Also, thank yous are in order to the @starliteroom staff and technicians and for everyone else who made it a memorable night.

Oh, and a special Thank you to Ted for pulling off Blinded By Fear with me. The rumors are definitely true, his right hand should be feared by amongst the titans of western guitarists.
