Titans Takeover Birmingham Highlights 📸

We kickstarted our @gfsnuk season with one of our teams taking a trip to the midlands to play @blazefc in a very eventful 3-3 draw!

A hatrick from last seasons top scorer @ajspencer1998 and a heroic defensive performance from @cillianconway helped Titans Turner come away with a well earned point.

But the highlights didn’t stop on the pitch as some of our players stayed overnight and made the most of the Birmingham nightlife and even tried the local cuisine of orange chips 🫦

An absolute thriller all round to start the season 💛🖤

What an absolutely brilliant weekend of football! 😸🌈
A massive thank you to all the clubs and players who travelled from near and far to join us for our annual Leicester Tournament. The quality on display was fantastic, providing some really good, highly enjoyable 6-a-side football across all the groups.

Huge congratulations to our 2026 Leicester Tournament Champions!
• The Cup: Puss in Foots
• The Vase: Soho FC
• The Spoon: Mount Pleasant Park FC

Events like this do not happen by magic, so we want to send a massive shoutout to everyone who helped get everything set up in the morning, kept the day running smoothly, and stayed behind to pack and tidy up at the end. You are the absolute heroes of grassroots football. 💙🖤

Until next year! 😸

21 years ago I met up with a lad called David as he wanted to create an LGBTQ football team in Birmingham.

I can tell you how it felt when the final whistle sounded on our first ever league win, my first ever game as captain. How my heart dropped when the penalty I took in Cologne sailed over the bar. How I didn't know how to react when I scored the penalty which won us our first ever trophy. How I cried when the final whistle sounded and we won the national league.

21 years. From Needle Park to Football For All. My heart bursts.
