So I wanted to give an update on Franklin. On Monday he suffered a fibrocartilaginous embolus. He now has paralysis on his right side. Our vets and neurologist feel that while it will be a long road to recovery he can recover. To what extent is unknown at this time. He is trying very hard to help. We are currently doing PT at home but next week he will start a PT program. Has anyone had a large breed dog who had FCE. If so how did you move him around and what was the outcome. the most difficult part is he weighs 106 lbs. sorry for the pic it somehow shifted
