HALLOWEEN SHOW ISSA LIL PREGAME FOR OUR BELMONT HOMIES B4 WE DESCEND UPON EAST NASHVILLE LIKE LOCUSTS Bleachline is a five-piece alt rock band from Nashville. Ethan Hedgecock (vocals), Mark McMillion (bass, vocals), Bates Nittle (guitar), Jackson DeShaw (guitar), and Charlie Cabelus (drums) became friends in college, where making music quickly became part of their time together, officially forming Bleachline in May of 2026. Psychedelic Secretary (Mara Sienna) is a singer, songwriter and composer, who is inspired by her vivid dreams, and the unknown anomalies of the universe. Her unconventional lyrics mixed with rich composition and electronic driven elements allows for a unique sound that cannot be placed within one single genre. not only does she bend genres, but she also bends the “rules” of harmony, challenging the norm of popular music and experimenting with chord progressions and melodies that take you on an unexpected journey. She currently attends school at Belmont University in Nashville TN, where she studies Commercial Music. The psychedelic Secretary band consists of other Belmont musicians including Joey Tapawan (Lead Guitar), Laura Steadman (Drums), Caleb Hogan (keys) and Micheal Petrane (Electric Bass). Mara Sienna is the vocalist, lyricist, composer, and synthesist. SMASH is a project comprised of writers from all styles of music, as well as projects. The North Star of the group is a modernized take on desert rock. With hints of Queen of the Stone Age and other stoner rock, SMASH is a unique combination of creative entities that harp on both old and new interpretations of the desert sound.

Congratulations to all of our 2026 Rock Showcase artists and the @belmontshowcase team for an incredible show to kick off this year’s Showcase Series! 2026 ‌Rock Showcase artists: @bleachlineband @_themoguls (Winner) @mothe.band @dylanjosephguitar ‌ The Showcase Series is designed to give students real-world training in all aspects of concert production, to showcase Belmont University student talent, and to build a sense of community between Belmont students and the music industry. Each school year, student leaders are responsible for planning, organizing, and running six arena showcases and multiple writers’ nights in a professional manner that highlights the musical and technical talents Belmont students have to offer. Students gain experience in the areas of team leadership, stage design, lighting design, artist management, production management, video production, live sound, publicity, promotion, art/brand design, performance, and more. We can’t wait to do it all again in the Curb Event Center on October 17 for Pop Showcase 🎶
