Meet the AOSEED X-MAKER JOY AI, a compact 3D printer with plenty of creative potential!

My son is already well into 3D design and printing, so we’ve got plenty of experience with the hobby at home. I wanted something for my two daughters to use as well, but without it being too complicated or overwhelming for them. That’s where the X-MAKER JOY AI comes in.

It looks like a great way for them to explore 3D printing, create something personal and watch their ideas take shape, layer by layer, with Dad there to help. ❤️

From little characters and toys to decorations for their rooms, there’s so much we could have fun making together. I love the idea of them being involved in the whole process, choosing what to create, asking questions and discovering how everything works.

That’s what excites me most about bringing 3D printing into the family: taking those “Dad, can we make this?” moments and seeing where they lead. 💡

The rounded design looks great too, and it fits nicely into our home setup. Although, let’s be honest, I’m just as excited to have a play with it myself! 😂

Been using the HECATE G5 MAX as my go-to PC gaming headset for the past few weeks… and honestly, I’m impressed. 🎧

A long overdue audio upgrade for the setup.

I’ve been using the Edifier R1280Ts for a while now and they’ve served me well, but moving over to the MR5s is definitely a step up.

The biggest difference is going from a 2-way speaker to a 3-way system, with separate drivers handling the lows, mids and highs. There’s also a jump from 42W to 110W RMS, so there’s a lot more power to play with.

But for me, it’s less about how loud they can go and more about how they actually sound. There’s noticeably more detail and separation, the soundstage feels wider and the bass has more presence without taking over everything else.

You also get XLR and TRS alongside RCA and AUX, Bluetooth and LDAC, plus plenty of control over the sound through the Edifier ConneX app.

They’re considerably bigger than my old speakers, so definitely something to consider if desk space is tight. But for me it’s definitely worth it.

I’ll be putting together a proper sound test and short review of the MR5s soon once I’ve spent a bit more time with them.

For now though, they’re a very welcome upgrade to the setup 👌

Been using the @edifier_global ES850NB for the last little while and there’s a lot to like. 🎧

Bluetooth 5.4, up to -45dB noise cancellation, multipoint connection and some genuinely useful features like Touch-to-Chat and customisable ANC modes.

Oh, and up to 92 hours of battery… which is slightly ridiculous.
