Xavena’s very first cross-country meet! 🏃🏽‍♀️💛

As the only visually impaired runner on her team, Xavena completed the race without her cane and ran alongside her guide, her amazing principal. I’m beyond grateful that she is fully included as part of the team and never made to feel separate. This moment means so much more than a race.

Xavena, I want you to always know that you can do anything you put your mind to. Your vision does not determine your limits you are strong, fearless, capable, and unstoppable.

She was so excited and gave it everything she had. She may have walked part of the race, but she kept pushing, crossed that finish line, and never gave up! This is only the first of many.

God, thank You for blessing me with such a brave daughter.
