What does a photo studio look like in the age of AI-enhanced self-portraiture? For self.space in Dubai, Bleek Bureau founder Polina Nosikova transformed a raw concrete shell into a cocooning, slightly futuristic environment designed around privacy, comfort, and self-expression. Sculptural lighting, velvet-clad seating, and gallerylike installations soften the high-tech experience—creating a space where architecture becomes part of the portrait itself.

A speakeasy concept defined by the contrast of raw concrete textures, luminous glass brick, and deep red neon within a compact, layered bar interior.

In our interior, we embedded all the meanings and ideas we wanted to see. We created a space that is truly comfortable and incredibly beautiful — a place where you can feel at home.

This interior combines lightness and boldness. Emerald sofas bring comfort, while the mirrored sphere expands the room and adds depth. Cold metal and concrete contrast with soft furniture and natural accents, coming alive through light and color. Designed by @bleek.bureau Photos by @vitaliigri
