One year ago, sound, bodies and rhythms aligned at @dockbpantin with @amapianofrance. As they shed their skin and reemerge as « @sauticlub », we take a moment to look back in images. From Gqom to 3-Steps, Afrohouse to Afrotech, echoes of South Africa’s sonic legacies flowed into a wider Afro-electronic constellation. Honoring the journey, embracing what’s next 🔅 ———/———   👥 Line up:   → #Diyou → @dj_haylow → @floutee_24 → @tribalevans → @mosofe___ → @iammamaata → @darkphoenixtv → @babati_music_ → @banga.musique → @blekete.express → @alois_xolani_moeng 📍 Venue: @dockbpantin 🔗 Event: link in bio 📸 Visuals: @sgarcia_photo 🤳🏾 Videos: @dawacollectif / @amapianofrance

As @boddhisatva reminds us, *Afrohouse is a continuum, not a territory*… That truth still echoes through « Afrotronika », born from a breath of rhythm and connection: a vibrant celebration of Afrohouse and diasporic spirit. The resonance lingers, alive and unfolding, and we relive it here in images. As summer approaches, we look forward to carrying this energy into the season ahead, from festivals to more intimate gatherings, continuing to dream, connect and celebrate through music 🔅 ———/——— 👥 Line up: → #Diyou [ @dawacollectif ] → @mosofe___ [ @dawacollectif ] → @iammamaata [ @dawacollectif ] → @etnispirit [ @mamagrooveparis ] → @karami_beats & @sophie_richelieu → @motsekmusic [ @kaphonicrecords ] → @kapela_officiel [ @soulful_sunday_ ] → @rickysoul_the_c3po [ @house_an_nou ] → @hibotep & @r3igndrops [ @nyegenyege ] → laurentsuccab [ Ka drum accompaniement ] → Mestre Tendai [ Berimbau bow accompaniement ] → @houedavi & @babati_music_ [ @blekete.express ] 📍 Venue: @la_cite_fertile ———/——— 🔰 Partners: → @panga.sport → @voltaplusmusic 🔗 Event: link in bio 📸 Visuals: @retross.e 🤳🏾 Videos: @dawacollectif

Stunning shot of @kkaybie captured by @sgarcia_photo during our last « DAWA & Friends » summer event at @gaitelyrique 🔅 During her stopover in Paris, we had the privilege of hosting her on our bi-monthly @tsugiradio show. We discussed her career path, her diverse background, and her latest compilation « A Dancefloor In Ndola », which highlights iconic sounds of East and South Africa, as well as musical memories from her atypical youth in Zambia. Re-listen to her interview and set online 🌍 📡 Broadcast: tsugi.fr/episode/collectif-dawa-invite-kampire 🔊 Replay: soundcloud.com/dawa-team
