This weekend, we celebrated my master’s graduation and my application submission to the doctoral program! 🎓✨
I’m beyond thankful for everyone who came out to celebrate! I truly felt the love and endless support. 💙

The people in these photos quite literally saved my life. (For those who don’t know, high school was a really dark time for me, and there were many days I didn’t think I’d even make it to 18, let alone to where I am today, and THAT is my testimony!). These incredible individuals lifted me up, believed in me, and shaped me into the woman I am today (some even let me move in with them and steal their clothes 😆). I wouldn’t be here without them, and for that, I owe them everything.

I can’t wait for this next chapter! Next stop.. doctorate and, after that, a faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery!! Let’s go!

WE ARE… victorious! 💪💙🤍
