Change is scary. But sometimes, when you emerge from darkness, out comes out a beautiful butterfly 🦋.

One week from today will be exactly 6 months when I left my Port of LA Family to take a leap for a promotion and will be final day of my probation.

Today my new City family surprised me with a birthday card and goodies sharing their kind birthday wishes to me. And out of all things I brought to wear today was a butterfly charm in my locket and the card was filled with butterflies.
What a beautiful reminder that we need to go through change to grow.

The best view comes after the hardest climb 🧗‍♀️

Sometimes life gives us mountains 🏔 and although the steep hill is intimidating and we feel that we won’t be able to achieve it by looking at it, sometimes all it takes putting on those hiking boots and going for it and it helps when you have good company to go towards the top with.

This past Sunday I joined @momsandtotsofsocal and @projectcoffeecup and few other mommies for a group hike and although I’m not in the best of shape, and haven’t gone hiking in months, it was the best way to just start and do it. This hike was not just a hike, it was an opportunity to give back to an organization, @projectcoffeecup lead by @silviasfuentes.40 to help with the displaced population with a toiletry drive.
It felt good to do good and to just DO IT! I know, it’s much easier said than done but surrounding yourself with others who got your back, and meeting new friends who are looking to welcome a day of a good hike always makes things easier.

So as we welcome a new month, what new goals or Mountains will you aim to climb?
Setting intentions and putting it out for the world to hear helps not only to keep yourself accountable but also helps manifest it in happening.

Let’s climb those mountains together and see what the top of the view looks like.
