This time last year was my final year week I think … time really does fly, I remember actively choosing to be happy even when I was really really struggling at the time, choosing to be joyful and happy sure is a lot of work sometimes but looking back , I’m glad I did, even though it doesn’t necessarily mean I forgot all about it( Infact the fact that this was documented reminds me clearly) I’m so grateful to my friends for being there for me and with me , even they at some point were also going through their own fair share but they still eventually tried to show up for themselves too, Mhen were just in our 20’s we Dey “CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY/JOYFUL” God abeg. 😭😂. This is supposed to be a reflective and thankful post but I’m just ranting about it all , in all things we give thanks to God all mighty for how far he’s brought us , it’s really just God’s grace keeping us together I love you guys @adelakun_abimbola @blessingfamose @thesopemayungbe @mayowa.e_ @afolabiayodeleenoc and other people I don’t know their handles God bless you all for me and comfort you ijn. ❤️

I don’t have so many behind-the-scenes photos. Just screenshots. Screenshots of conversations that looked insignificant at the time. But now, they feel like history. History of a dream that started with two people, a lot of faith, and many “What if we tried this?” It started with just me and @ibquake . Praying. Thinking. Writing down random names. Trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us to the right identity. At one point, we thought we had found it. DDTM — Don’t Drop The Mic. We spoke to the lawyer. Designed the logo. Started imagining what the brand would become. Then came the call. “The name has already been taken.” Back to square one. More conversations. More late nights. More ideas. Then… MIC DROP The moment we heard it, something just clicked. From there, people slowly started joining the vision. First @esuamusic then @nzuberobert . A team of two became four. Four became many. Today, I look at @officialmicdroplive and I smile. Not because everything was perfect. But because I watched God breathe on something that didn’t exist before. This is my first time building something completely from scratch. Not joining something. Not inheriting But BUILDING. Watching ideas become meetings. Meetings become plans. Plans become people. People become a movement. The competition may be over, but this isn’t what I’m celebrating. I’m celebrating the unseen moments. The conversations nobody applauded. The names that didn’t make it. The setbacks that redirected us. The faith it took to keep saying, “Let’s try again.” Every screenshot is a reminder that before people see the stage, someone has already lived through the story. @officialmicdroplive will always be our little baby. And I’ll forever be grateful to God for allowing me to witness what happens when faith meets obedience. Here’s to every beginning that looked too small to matter. And to everyone building something only God can see… keep going. 🎉Freshers Week Wrap Up 🎉 We have come to the end of our Freshers Week, and truly, it was impactful. From praise and worship, to panel sessions with our recent graduates Sis. Blessing Famose and Bro. Stephen Azeez, to Bible challenge, spoken word, and finally the Word themed “While We Are Yet Young.” God moved and lives were blessed.
