Featured in the Tony Allen: The Grindfather Documentary, and with the Tony Allen jersey retirement ceremony tonight, it was an honor to be part of the Memphis Grizzlies’ community initiative, which celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by painting basketballs with local youth. Congratulations @thegrindfather9 🎉 Well deserved!

On this day in 2019, @memgrizz received the second overall pick in the @nba Draft Lottery.

The Grizzlies, who would go on to select Ja Morant in the 2019 NBA Draft, entered the lottery with only a 6.3% chance of jumping six spots to land the second overall pick.
