For your #sundaycarry fix! We have the “beater” Colt Model 1903. This one has been refinished at some point in its life which makes it a wonderful candidate for a carry piece in my personal opinion! I absolutely love these little Colt autos. Hope everyone had a great weekend! As always remember to always carry, because you never know who is “walking around with tombstones in their eyes” and has nothing to lose.

When leg day hits so hard you just hobble around in a dissociative state and listen to some Pearl Jam while you finish your morning errands. #32thursday When walking is a religious experience and stairs seem like punishment from on high it’s good to know that you can indeed keep it “Lightweight Baby” with properly tuned and sprung 432 Ti with @hamreforge stocks along with a few other accoutrements. @blgoode PPK blade along with an @seikowatchusa Urban Safari with the right day of the week on the Kanji for Tuesday. Last but not least a little slap jack action from @growingupguns All of these tools “slap” if you take my drift but don’t add much weight. I’m carrying them all in my drawstring shorts that would make Magnum PI proud. They are the quintessential “Lightweight!!!!” And that’s a good thing when you have to say a little prayer to get out of a chair. Carry your guns my dudes and don’t skip leg day.

“F&@! it, Dude, let’s go bowling” whenever I put this @gondekedc hank in my pocket I think about Walter and The Dude. And the fact that Donny may be a complex hallucination that Walter has due to the loss of a close friend in Nam. In any event it got cold enough to put on an @americana.pipedream McGrath bomber on. The Frogskin camo of the bomber jacked pairs nicely with @growingupguns Slap Jack. I carry that at about 3-4 o’clock Got my trusty PPK from @blgoode at 9 o’clock. Got my 432UC Ti at 1 o’clock hooked in with the @hamreforge AFR Undercover Hook stocks. Have a good day my dudes. Have a Caucasian and Forget about the $&@/ing Toe.

The greatest compliment I can give @hamreforge is that the AFR Undercover Hook stocks are so comfortable that when Pedro sleeps on me in the car I can’t can’t feel the Roscoe so I had a moment of slight panic wondering if somehow I lost the gun. But no it was still riding appendix when I moved Pedro for a second to check its location. @growingupguns slap Jack is equally comfortable as well and so my PPK from @blgoode Chuck Norris approves. #thirtytwothursday

Lazy Saturday just chilling with some daily essentials. Got my optimized 432Ti with @hamreforge AFR hook stocks and an extended firing pin from @tkcustom_ and a standard power mainspring from Wolff Gun springs. Two mods I recommend if you are going to carry one. Got my newly delivered cutting card from @mummertknives showing off the @sneakreaper_industries Destructor which is probably my favorite sneakreaper variation. Gives me a Mongolian Buddhism vibe. Got my “PPK” or Pirate Parring Knife from @blgoode which is awesome and got my slapjack from @growingupguns And a Hank from @gondekedc Time to try out for Chippendales.

It’s #45friday and it’s 9/11. A pleasant surprised arrived today from @blgoode I asked him to make me a knife back in November and specifically asked to a slightly different style of sheath. While FedEx and UPS failed to deliver things I’ve been waiting around to sign for, the mail man hooked me up with this sweet new blade while I wasn’t looking. I thought I’d pair it today with some 1911s that are related to 9/11. The SIS with the @hamreforge stocks is a pistol I bought as I was getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan. I spent the 10th anniversary of 9/11 in Kandahar Province. And the @gunsiteacademy full house custom build on a Caspian frame and slide with a Kart Barrel and Bushing by Ted Yost is the 1911 I owned at the time of 9/11. I had spent a week out at @gunsiteacademy that summer doing a precision rifle course. My dad saw the pistol in the gunsmith shop and he bought it for me. 10 years later I’d be driving up to @heirloomprecision to drop it off with him again while he was still there. I wanted a tune up and some checkering done with a change of the sights. Jason Burton was there too and ultimately would help me out with the pistol a few years later. He did that free of charge too. Something that I was always impressed by and will forever be grateful to him for. The gun would be worked on while I was deployed and was waiting for me when I got home. It’s the gun I was wearing when I proposed to my wife. And it and the SIS are tied to today in my mind. One wouldn’t have been here without the other. @horseoakleather seems fitting to carry the Gunsite 1911 today. Stay strapped my friends. Carry a good pistol and a good blade and do so in leather when you can. Godless.
